Coach vs Latico Leathers. Comparing Felix and Callie slings
By Ben Schreiber. Updated .
Latico Leathers' Callie and Coach's Felix are leather slings with different proportions and storage. Callie specifies full-grain leather and a cotton twill lining. Felix specifies crossgrain leather and fabric lining. Choose around the shape, pockets and service terms you want rather than treating the brand name as a performance test.

Prices are US dollars at the time of writing, October 27, 2026. These prices describe Callie's listed variants and the checked Felix Black selection, not either brand's entire catalog. Callie's listed variants show $245 with no higher comparison price; the checked Felix selection shows $250 without a sale comparison. Eligibility and stock can change.
Felix lists shoulder and crossbody wear. Product specifications and service terms were checked October 27, 2026. Neither bag was independently wear-tested.
Shape and carry decide which to investigate
Felix's published outline is narrower and more upright than Callie's. Its 1.5-inch listed width may appeal if you prefer a shallower profile. Callie's published exterior length and depth are greater, but exterior dimensions do not establish usable volume or how either bag sits on your body.
Callie's product description supports sling, crossbody and shoulder wear, with left- and right-side use. It lists a 10 to 20-inch strap drop. Coach lists an adjustable shoulder strap with a 36.5-inch length for crossbody wear. Strap drop and strap length are different measurements, so these figures are not a direct range comparison.
Compare the storage you will actually use
The Callie sling lists side zip pockets and an interior organizer with card slots and pen holders, alongside zip and open pockets. That layout is worth considering if you want to separate small items rather than use a separate organizer.
Coach's Felix Sling Bag lists an outside zip pocket and an inside snap pocket. Its less divided published layout may suit someone who prefers a simpler main interior. These specifications do not prove that either bag is more comfortable or better made.
Coach has a repair-service advantage
Coach's repair policy, checked October 27, describes free quality-related repairs under its one-year warranty and assessed repairs at set fees afterward. It accepts submissions in store or by mail. The workshop cannot remove stains or refurbish leather, and repairability is assessed.
Latico's published policy, checked the same day, covers manufacturing defects for one year with proof of purchase. It says Latico does not provide a general repair, cleaning, re-dyeing or refurbishing service. Approved warranty claims may receive a replacement or, in certain circumstances, repair. Coach's ongoing assessed repair route is a real distinction for a shopper who values that service.
Read the return conditions before ordering
Latico accepts new, unworn merchandise with original tags within 30 days. Its policy excludes sale-section purchases and international orders from returns and warranty coverage. Return-label costs and a restocking fee can apply without Redo. Check return-label costs and any restocking fee before ordering.
Coach's returns page, checked October 27, allows eligible unworn, unused purchases with tags, parts and accessories within 30 days. It accepts returns at Coach or Coach Outlet stores and by mail. Its prepaid mail label deducts $7 from the refund. Customized, made-to-order and other specified categories are final sale, while shipping and gift-box costs are non-refundable.
Common questions
Which sling has the more divided interior?
Callie's published layout includes card slots and pen holders in addition to its pockets. Felix lists an outside zip pocket and inside snap pocket. Choose according to what you want to separate.
Is full-grain the same description as crossgrain?
The product pages use different material descriptions. Coach's Felix page does not specify a leather grade. This comparison does not infer grade or durability from its crossgrain label.
Is either sling a laptop bag?
This comparison makes no device-fit promise. Exterior measurements do not confirm usable interior space or the opening.
Which is the better choice?
Investigate Callie if its published organization and carry options match your routine. Investigate Felix if its narrower profile, simpler storage and Coach's repair route matter more. Check the selected variant and policy terms again before ordering.
